Shaping the Distribution Business Model
In the ’80s, Info-Quest provided international cutting-edge technologies throughout Greece, thus shaping the Distribution and Support business model, representing products of the most notable IT vendors and creating the first organized distribution network across Greece.
Computer Production & Service
In 1991, we created the first ISO-certified personal computer production line in Greece - Quest PC - adding significant value to a Greek product. Today we have a production line for both desktop and POS.
Recognizing in time the importance of technical support for this market, we create an advanced Technical Department that provides technical solutions to the company's customers. In the process, the Technical Department becomes an Authorized Service Center of the largest companies and is systematically distinguished for its high level of training, quality of service and the level of service it offers.
Internet & Mobile Telephony
In the ‘90s, Info-Quest was dynamically active in the newly emerging Greek mobile market, creating in 1993 Q-Phone, a service provider of Panafon (later Vodafone Greece), transformed into Unifon (after its merger with Palmaphone). We also create e-motion stores, the first retail chain in Greece to provide Combined IT & Telecom products and services - which today seems obvious.
In 1995, when the Internet starts in our country, we buy Hellas on Line (HoL) and actively contribute to the spread of new services.
In 2002, Q Telecom, after Unifon’s sale, was created as the fourth provider of mobile telephony services. The business model, as well as the cutting-edge communications strategy, make Q Telecom one of the most popular brands, but also a success business story. Q Telecom in 2005 was sold to Wind.
In 2000, we introduce www.questonline.gr , the first e-commerce application in the country for our resellers (B2B e-Commerce), offering tools for increased productivity, performance and competitiveness, while in 2006, we created our retail e-shop www.you.gr. You.gr constitutes, today, one of the most popular e-shops in Greece, with more than 15,000 products of technology, everyday use and care in more than 500 categories and 600 different brands.
